Corralito AFC's Leandro Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Oihan in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Gabriel Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rodrigo Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Fonda in the 31st minute of play. Leandro Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Teodosio Oihan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Giraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 40th minute, Fulgencio Indalecio made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Giraldo. Corralito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gabriel Goito kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Empedrado FC's Fulgencio Indalecio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Giraldo. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. Fulgencio Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Giraldo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Clementi got free with Leandro Giraldo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
