Tintigasta AFC's Orlando Gonza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Tintigasta AFC from getting a goal against them. When Benigno Loramendi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Rey de Copas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Loramendi couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Benigno Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Blas Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Zeledon Giraldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. In the 54th minute Delmiro Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tintigasta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rey de Copas the free kick. Cornelio Sotil hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Delmiro Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Blas Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rey de Copas had won after a very even match.
