Miguel Navarro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mar del Tuyu F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcial Horado was slow to take the kick. During this time Morteros's players had a chance to rest. 22 minutes in the game, Hernan Iban fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ludomir Kiewra having to interfere. Bonifacio Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Lartaun in the 24th minute of play. Bonifacio Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Urtungo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Hernan Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mar del Tuyu F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Iban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Iban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomir Kiewra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jeremias Urtungo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mar del Tuyu F.C's Bonifacio Asur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ruperto Orkatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludomir Kiewra. Morteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Orkatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Lartaun in the 39th minute of play forced Mar del Tuyu F.C's goalkeeper Bonifacio Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Raul Lartaun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Asur was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.
