Gaston Abajas's late challenge caught a Arrutó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Heriberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Arrutó's Sixto Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Abajas in the 31st minute of play. Sixto Heriberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Abajas in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Quinteros got free with Sixto Heriberto in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Heriberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Abajas in the 44th minute of the match.

In the 55th minute Epifanio Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Heriberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrutó's Sixto Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Abajas in the 84th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Carrodilla's Epifanio Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Heriberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Epifanio Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sixto Heriberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrutó were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
