Tierra Fertil's Francisco Weterio got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Hug in the 9th minute of play forced Tambo's goalkeeper Fernan Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cecilio Hug's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Tino was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Haitz during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernan Tino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Hug's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. A collision led to Tambo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Omar Gaur hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Amador Ascencio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Tino skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Hug was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Francisco Weterio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tambo's Fernan Tino. Fernan Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cecilio Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernan Tino came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Tierra Fertil's Cecilio Hug. But to his dismay, Cecilio Hug quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 64th minute Cecilio Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Alonzo Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Valerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tierra Fertil fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Tierra Fertil's Cecilio Hug looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hilario Valerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Petrigai in the 74th minute. Fernan Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Hug in the 76th minute of play. Fernan Tino came out of the goal and Cecilio Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Tino having to interfere. A collision led to Tambo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Leo Mon hit a great ball. Cecilio Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tambo's Leo Mon got a free kick in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Tambo's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Hug came free, but Fernan Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Tambo's Jaime Petrigai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilario Valerio. Hilario Valerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2.
