They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Lordi to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Simon Lordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Hipolito FC's Pascual Arias got control of the ball when Simon Lordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ciriaco Formerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Arias having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Simon Lordi managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, La de siempre FC's Ciriaco Formerio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pascual Arias. Augusto Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Arias having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Hipolito FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Isauro. 92 minutes into the match, La de siempre FC's Simon Lordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lordi in the 93rd minute of play forced Hipolito FC's goalkeeper Pascual Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pascual Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La de siempre FC. The La de siempre FC fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when La de siempre FC's Simon Lordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over La de siempre FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hipolito FC throughout the match.
