The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Ado got free with Bernardo Jurgi in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Defensores Del Cerro booed when Azucena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Savion got free with Bernardo Jurgi in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Eduino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Lia in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Ado got free with Bernardo Jurgi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Eduino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Lia went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fernan Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Eufemio in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Defensores Del Cerro's Bernardo Jurgi got control of the ball when Angelino Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fernan Emmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores Del Cerro's protests and gave Fernan Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Defensores Del Cerro getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fernan Emmanuel hit a great ball. If Herminio Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Defensores Del Cerro's Filiberto Bide got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fernan Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 66 minutes into the match, Damaso Obeko notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Defensores Del Cerro's Bernardo Jurgi. Bernardo Jurgi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Marco Silvestre had several of the Azucena FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Fernan Eduino as he didn't even see the shot coming. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
