Medanitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Benino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Gipuzkoa came free, but Oscar Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rexino Salva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Francis in the 15th minute of the match. When Rexino Salva came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rexino Salva couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS defense, Edgard Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Benino. The PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Benino should have stopped the shot. Oscar Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Gipuzkoa in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's Clemente Mederi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clemente Mederi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clemente Mederi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Edgard Francis, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Godfredo Bertin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medanitos's protests and gave Godfredo Bertin a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Medanitos got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Bertin. PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's Oscar Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Francis in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Amador Ubendu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 38th minute, Placido Gipuzkoa made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Benino. PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 42nd minute Edgard Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Benino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Bertin came free, but Oscar Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Francis in the 46th minute of play. The PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Medanitos were winning 0-2.

In the 63rd minute, Pastor Hotz made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Benino. PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Edgard Francis succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Medanitos made a substitution. Sebastian Alonso replaced Godfredo Bertin. Oscar Benino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franko Armani having to interfere. Oscar Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Francis in the 79th minute of play. PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's Oscar Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Alonso in the 81st minute of play. Cayetano Jerrold's late challenge caught a Medanitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Jerrold helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's Cayetano Jerrold got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Cebo. Oscar Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Gipuzkoa in the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's Oscar Benino got control of the ball when Edgard Francis tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Medanitos's Oscar Benino threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Alonso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Medanitos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
