Edgard Bonifaco's late challenge caught a Deportivo Samoré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Bonifaco helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Nereo Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Ihintza in the 6th minute of the match. Inocencio Romo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Nereo Pueblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Samoré. After 9 minutes, Arturo Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xeneizes and the Deportivo Samoré players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Xeneizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Eutor to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Samoré's Patricio Ereinotz got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 20 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Marin. Nereo Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Evarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Deportivo Samoré defense, Federico Victoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Oliverio. The Deportivo Samoré fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Oliverio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Ihintza in the 45th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Nereo Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Elpidio Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Samoré's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Ihintza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Pueblo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Ihintza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Eutor scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Oliverio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nereo Pueblo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Ihintza went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Elpidio Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nereo Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Ihintza in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes's zone, Melquiades Manex stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Pueblo came out of the goal and Melquiades Manex tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nereo Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Xeneizes's Nereo Pueblo got control of the ball when Melquiades Manex tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mario Aznar fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Samoré's protests and gave Mario Aznar a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Deportivo Samoré got a freekick which was hit by Mario Aznar. Ildefonso Stanislao's late challenge caught a Deportivo Samoré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Stanislao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Ildefonso Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 85 in the game by Elpidio Ihintza from a close distance when the talented Nereo Pueblo managed to make a qualified save. Xeneizes's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Melquiades Manex took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Nereo Pueblo to make any attempt to save it. If Elpidio Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Edgard Bonifaco got a free kick in the 96th minute. Deportivo Samoré played a much better game than Xeneizes and deserved their victory. The Xeneizes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
