Alberto Cresencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Oberá's Erland Gåsland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Javiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edgard Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Javiar having to interfere. When Oberá's Alberto Cresencio in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monteverde's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Cresencio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Javiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Oberá's Angelino Quexal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Erland Gåsland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oberá's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Gåsland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Oberá fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Oberá's Alberto Cresencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alberto Cresencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Erubiel Javiar made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Angelino Quexal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Javiar. That made the score 7-0 in the 36 minute of play. Angelino Quexal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erubiel Javiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelino Quexal slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monteverde! A collision led to Monteverde getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fulgencio Francho hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

Erubiel Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alberto Cresencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Monteverde getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Fulgencio Francho hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Oberá's Alberto Cresencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Javiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Melchor Ignado's late challenge caught a Oberá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Ignado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Melchor Ignado got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Oberá's Alberto Cresencio made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77thth minute of the game Felipe Pelayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monteverde's Erubiel Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fernando Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erubiel Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes of play, Oberá's Alberto Cresencio made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Felipe Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cresencio in the 97th minute of play forced Monteverde's goalkeeper Erubiel Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Oberá were the better team. Oberá's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
