An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Hug in the 35th minute of play forced 11 Leones de Zion's goalkeeper Melquiades Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 Leones de Zion's Melquiades Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Jacob in the 39th minute of play. Alfredo Hug spun around in front of the goal 46 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of 11 Leones de Zion's goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Urritz was the one to do the kick off. Melquiades Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Palmas's Erasmo Kusko got a free kick in the 91st minute.
