The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Membrillar FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Guaberto Ilixo hit a great ball. Membrillar FC's Gerard Quintero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamish McShimes in the 3rd minute of play. Dionisio Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Porfiro having to interfere. Hamish McShimes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerard Quintero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Txilar in the 8th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamish McShimes in the 10th minute of play. Gerard Quintero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Hamish McShimes made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Membrillar FC's Gerard Quintero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Blas Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Higinio Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Marz in the 34th minute of play. Loco Borja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerard Quintero having to make a save. Loco Borja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gerard Quintero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Quintero was a little too slow when Loco Borja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Txilar to make the kick off. Santo Colas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerard Quintero. Membrillar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Membrillar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Argoitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute LA MAQUINA F.C were awarded a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Turi in the 87th minute of play forced Membrillar FC's goalkeeper Gerard Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Rigoberto Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Quintero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rigoberto Turi put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gerard Quintero. When the referee ended the match the LA MAQUINA F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
