Baldomero Mergildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Melquiades Ongile charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Ongile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Toco y me voy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Ongile to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Toco y me voy FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Melquiades Ongile hit a great ball. Baldomero Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luciano Alvarez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Mergildo. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Toco y me voy FC's zone, Luciano Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Mergildo came out of the goal and Luciano Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lugano Futbol's Ruud Wollans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eneko Jorquera in the 28th minute of play. Luciano Alvarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomero Mergildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Alvarez slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 31st minute. Baldomero Mergildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th match minute, Toco y me voy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Estefan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Mergildo having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gualterio Barrionuevo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Toco y me voy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Barrionuevo couldn't finish the play. Guido Presebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruud Wollans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Adrian Machado hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Gualterio Barrionuevo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruud Wollans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hermengildo Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Mergildo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Liberto in the 67th minute of play forced Toco y me voy FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruud Wollans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneko Jorquera, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Amadeo Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toco y me voy FC's protests and gave Amadeo Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Amadeo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Toco y me voy FC defense, Luciano Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Mergildo. The Toco y me voy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Mergildo should have stopped the shot. After 92 played minutes Toco y me voy FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Dolcet. After 94 played minutes Toco y me voy FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Oinatz. When Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toco y me voy FC's goalie prevented a goal.
