When Mario Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Marthafoker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Garcia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Garcia in the 6th minute of play forced Calca Futbol Club's goalkeeper Marcelino Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Marthafoker FC defense, Mátyás Mogyorós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Martxot. The Marthafoker FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Martxot should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Calca Futbol Club's Mátyás Mogyorós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santo Martxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 20th match minute, Calca Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Rivas to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Calca Futbol Club's Luís Vázquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santo Martxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Vázquez was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Marthafoker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Mogyorós came free, but Santo Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Calca Futbol Club's Mátyás Mogyorós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santo Martxot. Santo Martxot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Mátyás Mogyorós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Martxot having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Marthafoker FC's goalkeeper Santo Martxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Vázquez. Guaberto Loramendi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Santo Martxot made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Edgard Sotil sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Justo Johans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Martxot. Marthafoker FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Johans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Marthafoker FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Mátyás Mogyorós scored to the left of an out of position Santo Martxot, making the score, 0-11. The Calca Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Calca Futbol Club's Luís Vázquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Vázquezs short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Santo Martxot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelino Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Garcia in the 86th minute of the match. Santo Martxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mátyás Mogyorós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Luís Vázquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Martxot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. Luís Vázquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Santo Martxot made a huge save. Calca Futbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
