Spectators: 6607 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victoriano Ramirez got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Naelio came free, but Blas Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Alumni Fc's Victor Caton to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Guillem despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Ramirez in the 8th minute of play forced Alumni Fc's goalkeeper Lucio Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Blas Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alumni Fc's Gilberto Olando got a free kick in the 12th minute. Blas Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Gonzo in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Caton in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Guillem saved Los Andes FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Victor Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alumni Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Caton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Hernando in the 29th minute of play forced Alumni Fc's goalkeeper Lucio Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Alumni Fc's Vicente Gonzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blas Guillem. Blas Guillem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Vicente Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Gonzo in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Caton in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucio Txema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Caton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Los Andes FC defense, Vicente Gonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Guillem. The Los Andes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Guillem should have stopped the shot. Blas Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Caton in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC's Ulises Esdras got a free kick in the 61st minute. Blas Guillem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Caton's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Caton in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Guillem saved Los Andes FC from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Naelio came free, but Blas Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Vicente Gonzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alumni Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Caton in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Guillem saved Los Andes FC from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Natalio Berbiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Andes FC and the Alumni Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alumni Fc booed when Los Andes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Reno made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ulises Esdras however managed to control. Blas Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Naelio in the 75th minute of the match. When Vicente Gonzo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Alumni Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Gonzo couldn't finish the play. Blas Guillem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Gonzo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alumni Fc's Nereo Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Alumni Fc getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Victor Caton hit a great ball. Los Andes FC's Gregorio Tonio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucio Txema but with some difficulty. 90 minutes into the game, Alumni Fc's Victor Caton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas Guillem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Edelmiro Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Alumni Fc getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Saul Montrell hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alumni Fc had played much better football throughout.
