After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Pilar's zone, Mariano Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Ubelteso came out of the goal and Mariano Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severo Hermelando kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Biarritz FC's Evelio Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Ourente in the 18th minute of play. Evelio Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Montxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Montxo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Ostadar. Evelio Ostadar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Reynaldo Bortzaioriz struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ramon Ubelteso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biarritz FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Montxo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Biarritz FC booed when Club Atlético Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Ubelteso came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Biarritz FC's Gonzalo Lesardo. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Lesardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Reynaldo Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biarritz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Bortzaioriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Gonzalo Lesardo in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Atlético Pilar's Hipolito Fernandez. Mariano Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Biarritz FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Pilar were winning 1-2.

Andres Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Mariano Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biarritz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Rivero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Henric got free with Evelio Ostadar in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Biarritz FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lisandro Frances hit a great ball. Evelio Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Montxo scored 1-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Ostadar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Mariano Rivero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Biarritz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. If Melquiades Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Club Atlético Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Henric to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Pilar booed when Biarritz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Biarritz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Montxo came free, but Evelio Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Biarritz FC's goalkeeper Evelio Ostadar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Henric. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Pilar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
