Gustavo Joanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Ponce went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Virgilio Lidon scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Joanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Blanco scored 0-4 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Joanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Uriel Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Virgilio Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 26th minute, Clodoveo Elodio made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Joanes. Borbotones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 30 played minutes Racing Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Ponce. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Larra in the 31st minute of play forced Racing Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Laureano Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Virgilio Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Borbotones's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Blanco came free, but Gustavo Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Borbotones's zone, Clodoveo Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Joanes came out of the goal and Clodoveo Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Borbotones getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tomás Peruxu hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Waclaw Traczewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Comunicaciones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Virgilio Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Borbotones's Gustavo Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Lidon in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Larra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Gustavo Joanes managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Racing Comunicaciones's Virgilio Lidon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Elodio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Joanes. Clodoveo Elodio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 58th minute, Waclaw Traczewski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Virgilio Lidon in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustavo Joanes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Uriel Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gustavo Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Elodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Joanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Elodio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62nd play minutes Virgilio Lidon shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Gustavo Joanes and just under the crossbar into goal. After 71 played minutes Borbotones got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Pasqual. After having played for 73 minutes, Atilano Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustavo Joanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Borbotones's Freddy Vidal got a free kick in the 91st minute. Borbotones's Gustavo Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Blanco in the 91st minute of play. Gustavo Joanes came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Comunicaciones's Uriel Ponce. But to his dismay, Uriel Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Gustavo Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Traczewski in the 96th minute of the match. Racing Comunicaciones's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
