Atahan Marraccini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Uncuţă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes 11 Chivos Reales got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Furtado. In the 13thth minute of the game Guillermo Ugaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11 Chivos Reales's Raimundo Raitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, 11 Chivos Reales's Viorel Uncuţă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atahan Marraccini. Atahan Marraccini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Faustino Mambru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Atahan Marraccini made a huge save. If Camilo Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CD ESPAÑOL booed when 11 Chivos Reales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atahan Marraccini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Uncuţă's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Faustino Mambru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Atahan Marraccini firmly grabbed it by the left post. Raimundo Raitin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Ugaitz's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Ugaitz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Raitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes 11 Chivos Reales got a freekick which was hit by Andres Tirso. After 33 played minutes CD ESPAÑOL got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Urki. Atahan Marraccini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Mambru in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, CD ESPAÑOL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Faustino Mambru fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 42nd minute, Natalio Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Uncuţă made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CD ESPAÑOL's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Uncuţă came free, but Atahan Marraccini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Faustino Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Marraccini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Ugaitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Raitin having to make a save. After 62 played minutes 11 Chivos Reales got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Txordon. Atahan Marraccini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 64th minute of play. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Mambru in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Marraccini saved CD ESPAÑOL from getting behind. When 11 Chivos Reales's Faustino Mambru in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD ESPAÑOL's goalie prevented a goal. Atahan Marraccini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Mambru's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Camilo Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD ESPAÑOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CD ESPAÑOL's Atahan Marraccini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Uncuţă in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute Viorel Uncuţă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Marraccini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atahan Marraccini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match 11 Chivos Reales got a corner. CD ESPAÑOL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andres Tirso ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to 11 Chivos Reales's Sebastian Celipe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to 11 Chivos Reales getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Natalio Cordeara hit a great ball. A hard shot 86 in the game by Guillermo Ugaitz from a close distance when the talented Raimundo Raitin managed to make a qualified save. 11 Chivos Reales's players were relieved. Gogo Ignazio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Faustino Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 11 Chivos Reales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Francisco Orlin had to leave the field with a concussion. After a rather tough play, 11 Chivos Reales's Cecilio Txordon got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
