A collision led to Gorra Boton FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jonathan Galsino hit a great ball. Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Cesario in the 18th minute of play. Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Gorra Boton FC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Gorra Boton FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonatan Cesario fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Gorra Boton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Cesario came free, but Zeledon Isauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Sportivo Sernova got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Hever. Santo Chayo's late challenge caught a Sportivo Sernova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Chayo helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Gorra Boton FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Chayo. Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Cesario in the 32nd minute of play. Zeledon Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Zeledon Isauro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sportivo Sernova's Jonatan Cesario shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 47th minute, Inocencio Egoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Isauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Chayo to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sportivo Sernova got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Rummens. Santo Chayo came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Helge Hedström could save by the left post. The Sportivo Sernova fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Sportivo Sernova's Jonatan Cesario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Inocencio Egoi made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Isauro. Gorra Boton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Zeledon Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Jonatan Cesario notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro. Zeledon Isauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Gorra Boton FC's Santo Chayo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zeledon Isauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The Sportivo Sernova fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Sportivo Sernova's Inocencio Egoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Jonatan Cesario fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Sernova's protests and gave Jonatan Cesario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Sportivo Sernova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Cesario to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Sportivo Sernova players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
