Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Fanuco in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Fanuco in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Isauro saved Gorra Boton FC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Ceferino Niva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Chayo. In the 18th minute, Osvaldo Fanuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Isauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Gorra Boton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Suero to maneuver through the defense. The Zeledon Isauro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Osvaldo Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Fanuco in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Ruben Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Zeledon Isauro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldo Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Isauro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Fanuco in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Isauro saved Gorra Boton FC from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Gorra Boton FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Totakoxe. Orlando Hanot took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Isauro. Zeledon Isauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Gorra Boton FC from getting a goal against them. The Racing Club fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Racing Club's Osvaldo Fanuco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 91 minutes, Luis Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Osvaldo Fanuco rounded Gorra Boton FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Racing Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
