Julio Quinten was a little too slow when Basilio Jaizki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 43rd minute Braulio Elivareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Quinten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Eneas in the 45th minute. In the 45th minute, Raimundo Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Camilo Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when AgroVet United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Astor Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sajones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Donzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Abastas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paolo Gimenez. AgroVet United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, AgroVet United's Lisandro Padura got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Julio Quinten came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by AgroVet United's Casimiro Eneas. But to his dismay, Casimiro Eneas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 93 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santos Ixidor came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AgroVet United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
