Marcos Berdoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Sjöberg having to make a save. After 13 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Sjöberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Remigio Erramu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 27th minute, Şevket Çağa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrik Sjöberg. The goal made the score 4-0. Club Atlético Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Ferdinand in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Benigno Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrik Sjöberg. The goal made the score 5-0. Patrik Sjöberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 37th minute. Marcos Berdoi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Patrik Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Berdoi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Sjöberg saved Lobo Norte from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Patrik Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada. But to his dismay, Anselmo Nevada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 56 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Sjöberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Şevket Çağa struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Patrik Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Patrik Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 76 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Abel Iban. Patrik Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Şevket Çağa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Sjöberg was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Patrik Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Marcos Berdoi notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Lobo Norte's Patrik Sjöberg.
