After a defensive mix-up in Equipo Abandonado's zone, Ted Korevaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doyle Forrest came out of the goal and Ted Korevaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doyle Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Goren in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Ted Korevaar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Equipo Abandonado's Doyle Forrest. Doyle Forrest was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Korevaar in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doyle Forrest prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Teobald Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Forrest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Asteri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Luis Ospin made a huge save. Doyle Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Korevaar in the 26th minute of the match. Luis Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Asteri in the 27th minute. Doyle Forrest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Sokol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Teobald Sokol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doyle Forrest. Equipo Abandonado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobald Sokol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After taking down the ball on Tifon Azul's corner Dario Etxahun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doyle Forrest quite easily take care of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Ted Korevaar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doyle Forrest. Equipo Abandonado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Korevaar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Tifon Azul were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Korevaar made a kick off. If Uriel Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Ted Korevaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Forrest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tifon Azul were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Equipo Abandonado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dario Etxahun took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tifon Azul's corner Dario Etxahun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doyle Forrest quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Korevaar in the 60th minute of play forced Equipo Abandonado's goalkeeper Doyle Forrest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Equipo Abandonado got a freekick which was hit by Astor Cresenciano. After a rather tough play, Equipo Abandonado's Teodoro Orland got a free kick in the 88th minute. Teobald Sokol charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobald Sokol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the match, Teobald Sokol notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Equipo Abandonado's Doyle Forrest. Doyle Forrest was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tifon Azul played a much better game than Equipo Abandonado and deserved their victory. The Equipo Abandonado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
