In the 16th minute, Jeronimo Errapel made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Fernandez. Viento Norte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Augusto Procopio took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Fernandez. Hernan Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Hernan Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Hugo Corrêa got a free kick in the 36th minute. Augusto Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernandez having to interfere. Hernan Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Cortez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernan Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Hernan Fernandez was a little too slow when Augusto Procopio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-9. Oscar Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Xabier having to interfere. When Augusto Procopio came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Procopio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Viento Norte's Saul Figueroa got a free kick in the 81st minute. Augusto Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Bonifacio Arias made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Fernandez. Viento Norte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. When the final whistle sounded SOUTH THUNDER left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Viento Norte.
