Gasolero's Mario Rico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilfredo Patxi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Fidencio in the 28th minute of play forced Potrerillo Azuleño's goalkeeper Wilfredo Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Erauso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Patxi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Jacinto Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasolero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Paio to make the kick off. Potrerillo Azuleño's Wilfredo Patxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Rico in the 80th minute of play. When Tadeo Remir came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gasolero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Remir couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pastor Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Potrerillo Azuleño's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Remir came free, but Wilfredo Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
