Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lorenzo Gagriel got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, San Boedo CASLA's Amancio Blanco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Mercurio. Dante Mercurio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9th minute Lorenzo Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cienaguilla's Edgardo Breogan got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Modesto Balendin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dante Mercurio, passed just outside the right post. In the 14th minute, Amancio Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modesto Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to San Boedo CASLA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zeledon Cordarell hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Romulo Loiola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Giraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amancio Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dante Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Dimas struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dante Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Boedo CASLA. The audience was convinced that Amancio Blanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Mercurio was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When Emanuel Gaxan fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienaguilla's protests and gave Emanuel Gaxan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Cienaguilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Gaxan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Balendin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Mercurio saved Cienaguilla from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Cienaguilla's Igor Feliu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Igor Feliu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cienaguilla protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Igor Feliu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cienaguilla!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modesto Balendin made a kick off. San Boedo CASLA's Apolo Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Gaxan in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cienaguilla's goalkeeper Dante Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Balendin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Agustin Savion charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Savion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguilla's zone, Modesto Balendin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Mercurio came out of the goal and Modesto Balendin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Balendin took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Mercurio. Dante Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The supporters of Cienaguilla booed when San Boedo CASLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Luciano Berenguer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Mercurio skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Cienaguilla's Ramiro Errolan got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, San Boedo CASLA's Zeledon Cordarell got a free kick in the 91st minute. Modesto Balendin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Mercurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
