After a defensive mix-up in San Boedo CASLA's zone, Benedicto Barto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Giraldo came out of the goal and Benedicto Barto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Edgard de Sena notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of San Boedo CASLA's Apolo Giraldo. Apolo Giraldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedicto Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eriberto Geleberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Balendin in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match San Boedo CASLA got a corner. Mecanica jorge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amancio Blanco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eriberto Geleberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Benedicto Barto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Apolo Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mecanica jorge's Benedicto Barto got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, San Boedo CASLA's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard de Sena came free, but Apolo Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Boedo CASLA's Apolo Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Barto in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Modesto Balendin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Benedicto Barto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Benedicto Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mecanica jorge's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Barto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Giraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Ismael Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Blanco in the 68th minute of play forced Mecanica jorge's goalkeeper Eriberto Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard de Sena in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Apolo Giraldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute Amancio Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Boedo CASLA's Modesto Balendin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mateusz Zaworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Apolo Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Ramiro Eder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apolo Giraldo. Ramiro Eder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Mecanica jorge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
