Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patricio Tancredo kicked off to start the match. Fermin Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hugo Palben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Deportivo Sarandi OFF got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Hulberto. Silverio Cordaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Gaitano could save by the left post. In the 7th minute of the game, Simon Maiorga landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Elorri during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Batán AFC booed when Deportivo Sarandi OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Silverio Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silverio Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Sarandi OFF's Robustiano Frederik got a free kick in the 18th minute. Silverio Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Maximo Gaitano made a huge save. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Silverio Cordaro sped through Deportivo Sarandi OFF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximo Gaitano. Silverio Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Maximo Gaitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Sarandi OFF's Zeledon Santos got a free kick in the 35th minute. Silverio Cordaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Maximo Gaitano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Batán AFC's Casimiro Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Maximo Gaitano made a huge save.

A collision led to Deportivo Sarandi OFF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Octavio Mannie hit a great ball. Maximo Gaitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Cordaro in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Batán AFC got a corner. Deportivo Sarandi OFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelino Iratze ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silverio Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Gaitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Cordaro in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Sarandi OFF's zone, Silverio Cordaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Gaitano came out of the goal and Silverio Cordaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Osvaldo Hulberto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Cordaro in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Gaitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Gaitano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Silverio Cordaro struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Maximo Gaitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batán AFC. 96 minutes into the match, Batán AFC's Silverio Cordaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Gaitano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Batán AFC fully deserved thier win.
