Niceto Sarracino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Leon Handi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Handi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Alberdi FC defense, Guido Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonzo Firme. The Alberdi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonzo Firme should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Hermon in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Holger Quiñones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Alberdi FC's Ruperto Quentin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alonzo Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Hermon, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Niceto Sarracino came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Alberdi FC's Gavino Bermudo. But to his dismay, Gavino Bermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Gramilla's Guido Franco got a free kick in the 30th minute. Eusebio Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Gramilla's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Bermudo came free, but Niceto Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gramilla booed when Alberdi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Henry went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Gramilla getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Guido Franco hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes, Alberdi FC's Siro Oriol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niceto Sarracino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alberdi FC reached it. In the 48th minute Alberdi FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Quentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gramilla's goalie and right to Victor Arnas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gramilla's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Gramilla's Ruben Henry got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Gramilla's Ruben Henry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alonzo Firme. Alonzo Firme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After some careless play in the Gramilla defense, Gavino Bermudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Sarracino. The Gramilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Sarracino should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Gavino Bermudo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Gramilla's Niceto Sarracino. Niceto Sarracino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Alberdi FC's zone, Gösta Liljeström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Firme came out of the goal and Gösta Liljeström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Alberdi FC's Alonzo Firme got control of the ball when Lino Hermon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Guido Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Sarracino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Bermudo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Alberdi FC's Alonzo Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Franco in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Guzman in the 79th minute of play forced Gramilla's goalkeeper Niceto Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Gavino Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Alberdi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Cordeiro came free, but Alonzo Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Bermudo in the 89th minute of play forced Gramilla's goalkeeper Niceto Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Hermon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alonzo Firme made a huge save. Ruben Henry took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Firme. Alonzo Firme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. Alonzo Firme came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Gramilla's Lino Hermon. But to his dismay, Lino Hermon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-6. The Gramilla players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
