Edelmiro Fonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Pulpera FC's Aureliano Artizar got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Edelmiro Fonso came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Melero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Fonso couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Fonso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Amador Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Hector Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alo Kuuda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Melero FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pulpera FC:s goal. The referee gave Pulpera FC a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fermin Loreto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Melero FC's Alo Kuuda. 1-1. Alo Kuuda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Manny in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Ellande was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Peruanton in the 54th minute of play forced Pulpera FC's goalkeeper Patricio Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melero FC's Celestino Gilen suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 68th match minute, Pulpera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Blasco to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Hector Ellande dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alo Kuuda, 3-2. 77 minutes into the match, Melero FC's Anier Izotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Guillelmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alo Kuuda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Artizar in the 91st minute. Clemente Acuña charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Acuña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clemente Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Pulpera FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Americo Afonso hit a great ball.
