But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Natal couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in F. C .GUS's zone, Urbano Ortega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Maxin came out of the goal and Urbano Ortega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, F. C .GUS's Fabio Fanuco got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, F. C .GUS's Bernabe Natal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Gilesindo. Rafael Gilesindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. During the 20th minute of the match Arturo Allemandi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arturo Allemandi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to F. C .GUS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arturo Allemandi hit a great ball. Rafael Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Natal in the 27th minute of the match. Fabio Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Bernabe Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Saip Umural came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Locura Académica fans jumped to their feet. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes, Urbano Ortega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locura Académica and the F. C .GUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Urbano Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Dalmai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Gilesindo. Locura Académica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernabe Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rafael Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Natal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, F. C .GUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Urritz to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Ortega in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Maxin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saip Umural hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Ulizes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Bernabe Natal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Gilesindo. Locura Académica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Natal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Urbano Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Emanuel Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Natal in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Gilesindo saved Locura Académica from getting behind. Nyangnyang Rungkat struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Emanuel Maxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locura Académica. In the 76th match minute, F. C .GUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Lluques to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Remus Pinches sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Emanuel Maxin threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Remus Pinches this time. Rafael Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute of the match F. C .GUS got a corner. Locura Académica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorio Dalmai ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Victorio Dalmai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rafael Gilesindo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Sotero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Natal came free, but Rafael Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Locura Académica booed when F. C .GUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Sotero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The F. C .GUS fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when F. C .GUS's Bernabe Natal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. F. C .GUS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
