Mateo Innocenzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Esiquio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Innocenzio ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Daireaux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Martxelin came free, but Jonatan Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Ceferino Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ceferino Rivero made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Esiquio. Daireaux FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Jonatan Esiquio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ceferino Rivero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 72 minute of play. Mariano Gregory hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Las Palmas's Ceferino Rivero got a free kick in the 91st minute. Glen Halloran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Peyo in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Las Palmas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
