A nice corner shot did that Ryan-Junior Giggs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Freddy Peter quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 9th minute Segundo Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to EL CARTERO getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rosendo Ekaitz hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Arnaldo Basualdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sol Younger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Júlio de Lara made a huge save. Freddy Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Frichoso in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Eugenio Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL CARTERO's Júlio de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Orlandus in the 27th minute of play. Roberto Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Bonifacio Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ekans's Freddy Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Toribio in the 36th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bonifacio Toribio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, EL CARTERO's Bonifacio Toribio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddy Peter. Freddy Peter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Júlio de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sol Younger in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Gervasio Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Sol Younger notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of EL CARTERO's Júlio de Lara. Júlio de Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 69 minutes on the clock, Tomas Aztore commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Júlio de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Ekans's goalkeeper Freddy Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Toribio. Arnaldo Basualdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio de Lara having to make a save. Freddy Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Frichoso in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Basualdo in the 88th minute of play forced EL CARTERO's goalkeeper Júlio de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ekans's Armando Taurino got a free kick in the 91st minute.
