Lino Ascencio came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelotines Sporting's Pascual Llin. But to his dismay, Pascual Llin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lino Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Carlos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Pelotines Sporting's Joaquim Carlos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Ascencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Ascencio came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelotines Sporting's Joaquim Carlos. But to his dismay, Joaquim Carlos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luciano Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Pascual Llin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Ascencio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes Canallas got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Caetano. Lino Ascencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Carlos went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Canallas booed when Pelotines Sporting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Frederik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Pascual Llin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pelotines Sporting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Lino Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Carlos in the 46th minute of play. Canallas's Lino Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Frederik in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Veremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Celedonio Frederik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lino Ascencio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Canallas's Lino Ascencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Canallas from getting a goal against them. Canallas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Joaquim Carlos scored to the left of an out of position Lino Ascencio, making the score, 0-8. Basilio Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Orixe in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Celedonio Frederik notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Canallas's Lino Ascencio. Lino Ascencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norberto Rolado in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lino Ascencio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 77 minutes into the match, Canallas's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Frederik came free, but Lino Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Canallas's goalkeeper Lino Ascencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Carlos. After some careless play in the Canallas defense, Celedonio Frederik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Ascencio. The Canallas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Ascencio should have stopped the shot. Canallas's Lino Ascencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Canallas from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Pascual Llin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lino Ascencio. The goal made the score 0-12. With a little luck, Canallas's Lino Ascencio got control of the ball when Joaquim Carlos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
