From a short distance, Soy del barrio de la Boca's Everardo Fortun, in the 11th minute, tried to place the ball behind Genaro Jerico, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Arturo Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Jerico having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Soy del barrio de la Boca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerita FC the free kick. The supporters of Higuerita FC booed when Soy del barrio de la Boca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ora Lagos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a Soy del barrio de la Boca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Arturo Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soy del barrio de la Boca's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Jerico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Soy del barrio de la Boca's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Erlantz came free, but Elvio Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Jerico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Luken in the 87th minute of the match. Genaro Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Olo in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Higuerita FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Denis Sasoin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Higuerita FC's Denis Sasoin got a free kick in the 91st minute. Zeledon Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Zeledon Bertran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Jerico. Higuerita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Bertran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Soy del barrio de la Boca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
