When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Pablo Guillerme took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tomi Lee to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo FC's zone, Pablo Guillerme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomi Lee came out of the goal and Pablo Guillerme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Arturo Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruthian FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Oso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomi Lee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Guillerme got free with Tomi Lee in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lobo FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jeronimo Serapio hit a great ball. With his leg Tomi Lee managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Ruthian FC's Pablo Guillerme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Fausto Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Ruthian FC's Fausto Osasun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomi Lee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pablo Guillerme struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tomi Lee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruthian FC. Pablo Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomi Lee having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Pablo Guillerme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobo FC's Tomi Lee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Serapio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruthian FC the free kick. In the 61st minute, Jeronimo Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Pablo Guillerme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomi Lee was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Lobo FC booed when Ruthian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Oso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Serapio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Beliran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ruthian FC had played much better football throughout.
