Godofredo Celio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 minutes, Baldomero Etor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Independiente FC and the BAC Belgrano de Cba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ermegildo Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match, Bartolo Mantzio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnoldo Brais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BAC Belgrano de Cba! Romeo Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Romero in the 19th minute of play. Ermegildo Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st match minute, BAC Belgrano de Cba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugh Wright to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Gilberto Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Independiente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Iyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when C.A. Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Henric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Brais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Independiente FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benigno Kauldi was slow to take the kick. During this time BAC Belgrano de Cba's players had a chance to rest. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Bartolo Mantzio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnoldo Brais in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Iyan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45thth minute of the game Gilberto Iyan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Iyan to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Cecilio Sugar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Independiente FC's Arnoldo Brais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnoldo Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Sugar in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Mantzio in the 55th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnoldo Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to C.A. Independiente FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Romeo Cerilo hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Benigno Kauldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Gavino Ongile nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Brais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 78thth minute of the game Gavino Ongile who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Independiente FC's Arnoldo Brais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosme Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ermegildo Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes of play, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Bartolo Mantzio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Brais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoldo Brais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Ongile's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the C.A. Independiente FC defense, Gavino Ongile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Brais. The C.A. Independiente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Brais should have stopped the shot. BAC Belgrano de Cba's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
