Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciriaco Baumer started the match with the kick off. Arnulfo Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Roman Dalmau sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Roman Dalmau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnulfo Nuñez, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Holmberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Salvidor. With a little luck, Holmberg FC's Arnulfo Nuñez got control of the ball when Arsenio Gomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Jerold struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Arnulfo Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagartijas Futbol. A collision led to Lagartijas Futbol getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. David Edorta hit a great ball. If Gregorio Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Rene Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciriaco Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Arsenio Gomez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Arnulfo Nuñez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Holmberg FC's Arnulfo Nuñez got control of the ball when Arsenio Gomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Nuñez came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lagartijas Futbol's Roman Dalmau. But to his dismay, Roman Dalmau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Jerold in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Nuñez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Lagartijas Futbol booed when Holmberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Jerold in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jacobo Sal hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Holmberg FC's Arnulfo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Gomez in the 55th minute of play. Rafael Jerold took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Nuñez. Arnulfo Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 60 minutes into the game, Lagartijas Futbol's Roman Dalmau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Nuñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 69 played minutes Lagartijas Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Dacio. In the 73rd minute, Arsenio Gomez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnulfo Nuñez was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 76 minutes of play, Lagartijas Futbol's Arsenio Gomez made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute Roman Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Lagartijas Futbol's Arsenio Gomez made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnulfo Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Gomez in the 88th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Gregorio Salvidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmberg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagartijas Futbol the free kick. Gregorio Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Arnulfo Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Gomez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Gomez in the 95th minute of play. Miguel Bento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Enzo Beremundo made a huge save. There was no doubt that Lagartijas Futbol were the better team. Lagartijas Futbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
