Fernando Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Guillem in the 9th minute of the match. Celso Sugar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Osoitz Rescuro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernando Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Beltre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Guillem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Sugoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Guillem took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Sugoi. Fernando Sugoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fernando Sugoi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Bahia Sporting Club's Darell Beltre. But to his dismay, Darell Beltre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Eliseo Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Gilberto Guillem scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Sugoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Gilberto Guillem made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Sugoi. C.A.D.A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After having played for 45 minutes, Eliseo Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahia Sporting Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Sugar made a kick off. Fernando Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Guillem in the 55th minute of play. Osoitz Rescuro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes C.A.D.A.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albino Vagrande who took care of the corner kick. In the 62nd minute, Gilberto Guillem fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fernando Sugoi, passed just outside the right post. Fernando Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Guillem in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Darell Beltre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Sugoi. C.A.D.A.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darell Beltre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Bahia Sporting Club's Alípio Caiado was substituted for Hugo Velasco. In the 79th minute Gilberto Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Gilberto Guillem fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bahia Sporting Club made a substitution. Ludvig Nässén replaced Gilberto Guillem. The throw-in from Francisco Gustau in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bahia Sporting Club's Alípio Caiado. In the 95th minute, Bahia Sporting Club's Ludvig Nässén dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Bahia Sporting Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
