The supporters of Gran Pauta AFC booed when Chusca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Chusca AFC's Aldo Laffitte got a free kick in the 25th minute. Antonio Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Peru in the 27th minute of play. When Norberto Maxin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gran Pauta AFC's protests and gave Norberto Maxin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gran Pauta AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Norberto Maxin hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chusca AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Artaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Goiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Artaldo having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Fortun came free, but Herbert Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chusca AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gran Pauta AFC the free kick. A collision led to Chusca AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jairo Luix hit a great ball. Rosendo Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Antonio Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Peru took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Artaldo. Rosendo Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Antonio Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gran Pauta AFC's Edgard Goiz in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chusca AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Edgard Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Madeo in the 84th minute of play. Antonio Artaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Blas Abreu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herbert Tyskie. Gran Pauta AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antonio Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Peru in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Gran Pauta AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chusca AFC.
