Rodrigo Feliz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gran Pauta AFC's zone, Jaime Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Tyskie came out of the goal and Jaime Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Min in the 22nd minute of play. Jaime Gagriel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Marcel Albuquerque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Marcel Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Peru in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Medanito's Josef Mirga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Tyskie. Herbert Tyskie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Peru in the 37th minute of play forced Medanito's goalkeeper Marcel Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Min hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Gran Pauta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Madeo to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, Medanito's Jaime Gagriel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herbert Tyskie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Herbert Tyskie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Sergio Ilixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Herbert Tyskie made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Bernad to strike the kick off in the second half. Herbert Tyskie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Ilixo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Gran Pauta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Enrique Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Medanito's Marcel Albuquerque got control of the ball when Aureliano Peru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Ilixo might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Tyskie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Ilixo ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Min hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gran Pauta AFC defense, Sergio Ilixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Tyskie. The Gran Pauta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Tyskie should have stopped the shot. Gran Pauta AFC's Herbert Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Mirga in the 95th minute of play. Medanito's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
