The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Osoitz Rescuro threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolo Tibalt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teodosio Lertxun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osoitz Rescuro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Darell Beltre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Aşır Settar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aşır Settar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Pirro in the 19th minute of the match. Darell Beltre took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşır Settar. Aşır Settar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Aşır Settar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darell Beltre in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Gilberto Guillem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahia Sporting Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Gloria Verdinegra AFC's zone, Gilberto Guillem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşır Settar came out of the goal and Gilberto Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahia Sporting Club's Osoitz Rescuro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Urko in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darell Beltre in the 33rd minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Aşır Settar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Gilberto Guillem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Aşır Settar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bahia Sporting Club's Osoitz Rescuro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Lertxun in the 44th minute of play. Aşır Settar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Guillem's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Ovidio Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osoitz Rescuro having to interfere. The Gloria Verdinegra AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bahia Sporting Club were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Poncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşır Settar having to interfere. Fidel Poncio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osoitz Rescuro having to make a save. Albino Vagrande charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Vagrande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, one of Bahia Sporting Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bahia Sporting Club. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bahia Sporting Club's goalie and right to Constantino Uhin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bahia Sporting Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gilberto Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when Bahia Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fidel Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Guillem came free, but Aşır Settar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Tibalt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aşır Settar made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Eliseo Pirro sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Bahia Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Lertxun came free, but Osoitz Rescuro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when Bahia Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahia Sporting Club made a substitution. Ludvig Nässén replaced Gilberto Guillem. After 87 played minutes Bahia Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Albino Vagrande. Fidel Poncio might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osoitz Rescuro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Poncio ran back to his position shaking his head. Osoitz Rescuro came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Ovidio Urko. But to his dismay, Ovidio Urko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Eliseo Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aşır Settar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
