Lucas Alario scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Odol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 25 minutes, Amador Pudes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario AFC and the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After 38 minutes of play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Odol was left in no man's land by his defense there! A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Marin Mascovescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niceto Eriz, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Marin Mascovescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Lucas Alario managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Alario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Odol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guaberto Eguzki to strike the kick off in the second half. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Rosario AFC's Aristides Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Alario in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Lucas Alario made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Odol. Rosario AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 66 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Ranolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D Atlético Villa Gesell the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rosario AFC's Eleuterio Ranolfo got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Lucas Alario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Alario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Alario in the 73rd minute of the match. When Lucas Alario came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Alario couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Odol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Alario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Odol having to make a save. In the 80th minute Lucas Alario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Odol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Rosario AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Alario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aristides Odol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Imperiale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Odol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell had played much better football throughout.
