The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Emmanuel got free with Dida Martinez in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dida Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Ipar in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Futbol & Birras's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Lizardi came free, but Dida Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Silvestre Javiero got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dida Martinez handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Silvestre Javiero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dida Martinez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Futbol & Birras's Dida Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Futbol & Birras from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Arocena FC's Paolo Jax got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute of the match, Didier Brutin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Modesto Godoy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅常岩 in the 59th minute of play forced Arocena FC's goalkeeper Modesto Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Dida Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Grabiel in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Celso Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arocena FC's Lázaro Lizardi in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futbol & Birras's goalie prevented a goal. Silvestre Javiero's late challenge caught a Futbol & Birras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Javiero helped the player get up and apologised. Silvestre Javiero hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Futbol & Birras's Dida Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Grabiel in the 92nd minute of play. Arocena FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
