Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernesto Celio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hercules FC's Generoso Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Gergori in the 7th minute of play. Generoso Astigar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Gergori's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Ernesto Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Napier having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Moises Cutberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Generoso Astigar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Generoso Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Gergori in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Hercules FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Yan Qiang came free, but Generoso Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Efrain Bembe made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Napier. Lomas de Zamora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Delmar Frances was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, one of Hercules FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hercules FC. Hercules FC's Generoso Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Gergori in the 35th minute of play. Anibal Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Generoso Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Piearres struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Narciso Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hercules FC. Anibal Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Gergori, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Orlando Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomas de Zamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Gergori to make the kick off. Anibal Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Astigar came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Lomas de Zamora FC's Anibal Gergori. But to his dismay, Anibal Gergori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Anibal Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomas de Zamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Gergori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Gergori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Astigar having to make a save. Generoso Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Robres, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Generoso Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Gergori went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Anibal Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Astigar having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Anibal Gergori made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Hercules FC's Generoso Astigar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Generoso Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Gergori, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Efrain Bembe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Gergori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Sebastian Orixe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Generoso Astigar. The goal made the score 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Cutberto got free with Generoso Astigar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Astigar was a little too slow when Moises Cutberto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-7. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Moises Cutberto took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Generoso Astigar to make any attempt to save it. Hercules FC's Generoso Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Hercules FC from getting a goal against them. Lomas de Zamora FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
