The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Francho was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Betania's Desiderio Baleren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmacio Aureo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Verdugos FC defense, Desiderio Baleren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Aureo. The Verdugos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Aureo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 67 minutes, Modesto Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Betania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Baleren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmacio Aureo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Verdugos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Baleren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Baleren in the 96th minute of play forced Verdugos FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verdugos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
