Quilaquina's Cleto Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Bide in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quilaquina's zone, Braulio Bide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Amor came out of the goal and Braulio Bide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quilaquina's Cleto Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Bide in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Quilaquina's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Bide came free, but Cleto Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Braulio Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Amor was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Braulio Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Amor having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Marcelo Orland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilaquina and the Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Quilaquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Orland to maneuver through the defense. Patagonia were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Quilaquina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Gaueko took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Saturnino Guipuzkoa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Braulio Bide came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Patagonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Bide couldn't finish the play. Rolando Galo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Braulio Bide made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Amor. Quilaquina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Marcones to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleto Amor was a little too slow when Saturnino Guipuzkoa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. A collision led to Quilaquina getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sebastian Marcones hit a great ball. If Saturnino Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Bide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cleto Amor came out and tried to block the shot, but Braulio Bide slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Flores came free, but Viktor Kalkanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Quilaquina booed when Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Chabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Orland struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Viktor Kalkanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilaquina. In the 79th minute, Emanuel Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Braulio Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Amor was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Braulio Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Sebastian Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Kalkanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quilaquina's Cleto Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Bide in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Patagonia's Saturnino Guipuzkoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Amor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Patagonia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quilaquina.
