Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 20) Futbol Champagne's Zeca Maranhense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Formerio in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Maranhense in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Cordarryl saved Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Sergio Ignado got a free kick in the 7th minute. The long shot by Gervasio Playo in the 11th minute really tested Jeremias Ledesma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zeca Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Cordarryl having to interfere. In the 18th minute Pitoy Concha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte booed when Futbol Champagne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Gurutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tiburcio Formerio sped through Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Cordarryl. When Futbol Champagne's Zeca Maranhense in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Maranhense came free, but Diego Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pitoy Concha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca Maranhense in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Cordarryl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Diego Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Formerio in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's zone, Tiburcio Formerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Cordarryl came out of the goal and Tiburcio Formerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pitoy Concha scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Cordarryl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severiano Bastiaro made a kick off. Diego Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Maranhense in the 54th minute of play. Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 64th match minute, Futbol Champagne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Ledesma came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Severiano Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Severiano Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Futbol Champagne's Amador Lluis was substituted for Tiburcio Formerio. Gervasio Playo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Leo Blanco from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Diego Cordarryl's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cosme Bermund hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Diego Cordarryl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Lluis in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, Amador Lluis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Cordarryl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Cosme Bermund fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's protests and gave Cosme Bermund a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Cosme Bermund got a free kick in the 80th minute. Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Diego Cordarryl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte from getting a goal against them. After 85 minutes, Aquiles Otoniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Champagne and the Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Aquiles Otoniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Cordarryl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeca Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Diego Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Maranhense in the 95th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Lluis got free with Diego Cordarryl in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Futbol Champagne played a much better game than Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte and deserved their victory. The Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
