Marcelo Rubio started the match with the kick off. In the 13th minute, Braulio Maidana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Trzaskoma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 23 in the game by Augusto Cordario from a close distance when the talented Damian Trzaskoma managed to make a qualified save. FEYENOORD Sporting's players were relieved. Ruperto Caradaro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Velez Sarsfield's Filomeno Montrell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Trzaskoma. That made the score 4-0 after 26 minutes of play. Damian Trzaskoma made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Filomeno Montrell sent off a good shot on target. When Augusto Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Cordario couldn't finish the play. Damian Trzaskoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Montrell in the 34th minute of play. Augusto Cordario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Damian Trzaskoma made a huge save. After 37 played minutes FEYENOORD Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Caradaro. After having played for 39 minutes, Filomeno Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez Sarsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Cordario scored 5-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Trzaskoma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes in the game, Augusto Cordario fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Damian Trzaskoma having to interfere. Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 林西翀 in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

After 54 minutes of play, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filomeno Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67th play minutes Augusto Cordario shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Damian Trzaskoma and just under the crossbar into goal. Velez Sarsfield's Leandro Berti was substituted for Ignacio Berenguer. 72 minutes into the match, Augusto Cordario notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FEYENOORD Sporting's Damian Trzaskoma. Damian Trzaskoma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79thth minute of the game Augusto Cordario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FEYENOORD Sporting's Damian Trzaskoma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Raul Argoitz replaced Marcos Pacifico. Braulio Maidana made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silverio Leguizamón however managed to control. Augusto Cordario scored 10-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Trzaskoma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Trzaskoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 89th minute of play. Damian Trzaskoma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Cordario went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Velez Sarsfield were the better team. Velez Sarsfield's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
