The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Centenario FC's goalkeeper Daniel Ordono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simon Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ordono having to interfere. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Pello in the 29th minute of play. Dionisio Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 汪常然s short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Daniel Ordono to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. German Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Iratze in the 36th minute of play forced Centenario FC's goalkeeper Daniel Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Daniel Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Iratze in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LOS MENTI's zone, Saturnino Pello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Marino in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes LOS MENTI got a freekick which was hit by Albino Garaona. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

LOS MENTI's supporters rose to their feet, but 汪常然 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
